can we get a run-through of the many known (unnecessary?)
alter-identities of the better-known artists? are there
more/less people involved in something like gescom? and how
the works differ between the different names they record
under

I know all of afx's .. and autechre only records under
'autechre' and 'gescom'.. and boards of canada has "hell
interface"? (what is this like)?

then ovucua begat astrobotnia, and kinesthsia begat cylob..
and abraham begat ishmael.. on and on and on.. clear some of
this up !

I know autechre have said that gescom is a collective, but
unfortunately I've never come across a definite roster.
Though I assume Rob Haswell is in there somehwere. Be neat
if Mira Calix was too, since shes married to one of ae.

I doubt they have any copies left but I found this on
Bentcrayon.com

Various whine and missing toe CD v/vm $11.99 ADD
Note:A re-issue of the much sought after Xmas release from
way back in 1997. This 3" CD includes all those tracks found
on the original 7" (VVMT4) including the much sought after
'Soylent Night' by Hell Interface aka Boards Of Canada. The
CD also includes 2 bonus tracks which were not available on
the original 7", one is an edit from a live VVM show back in
1997, the other is a timely update of 'Pipes of Peace'. All
of the tracks appear on compact disc for the first time,
making this an excellent stocking filler. 750 copies only

Yeah v/vm usually have it in stock. The 7" sold out years
ago and is highly sought after, but the CDs are usually in.

I'm too good to you :)

hooold up.
radiohead - on a friday??
two things wrong with that.
1)radiohead isn't idm
2)on a friday is the bands original name circa 1991. they
were forced to change it by the record company, but it is no
longer used, so it isn't a pseudonym.

That is definitely the CUTEST pseudonym ever.

Fuck pseudonyms. Mike P and Luke V, it's impossible to
remember them all. At least Snares, for all his
overabundance of output, has the decency to keep it all
filed under V.

Do you think lego would sue AE for using that name? Bearing
in mind theirs is the worst theme park in the world minus
the one in Blackpool.
