that's the real amount of points. the number displayed in the "message-header" is the unique message-ID, which are increasing for each post. the ID remains intact even while messages are being deleted, but that's not the current amount of messages. but even if you had a look at the last message ID it would hit the 1 million even before the end of 2003 - prolly already on Sunday. |
