Sennheisers.
What do you want them for (Listening at home, Listening at work, DJing, portable stereo use, music production, etc)?

Hmm, I can't recommend a specific model for Listening/production at home, but for a portable stereo I'd recommend SEnnheiser MX-500s. Fantastic "in ear" headphones and cheap too (£20).

for the smaller set, get the sony wrap around headphones, but dont get any of the cheap knockoffs, they dont feel or sound nearly as good (nor do they last as long)

Sony MDR-7506. Rugged, Sound good. Excellent bass. They fold up for storage, too.

got my sennheiser for over three years now, using it almost everyday: still fits great, only had to buy a new wire for it once, you can plug it in easy, but the headphone still works great

mine are Sony MDR V600 phones
i've been using them for years with no complaints. i think you can get them for around $60-80 and they are well worth the money. very comfortable too.

I have those 500's, pretty good sound, I just hate in ear headphones because they pop out easily and sometimes one side can be pushed further in the ear than the other side. Someone needs to make a good comfortable pair of in-ear phones.
I also use Sennheiser eH 2200 for production at my home computer.

I don't like the sound of my grado sr80's; the high frequencies are accented too much and the midrange is lacking. I prefer my sennheiser hd497's. they don't have as much detail, but the response is much more even overall, but with more bass than the grados.
