everyone hates on this shit.
it's not too bad though, imo

tracks 1 through 3 are my favorites.
track 4 is allright.
track 5 is the only one i dont really care for.
mutilation colony is great. yeah yeah
i like the jd cover, though it comes nowhere near the
original.

my 2 cents

i like it. i dont see what the problem was, after go plastic
it didnt sound too strange or differnet to me. sounded like
his breakstuff plus some of the more electro-acousticy
elements. the last song is just really out of place to me,
but its well done.

Track 1's cool, the rest not so much...

Its a bit too ambient for me at some parts, but there are a
good 3 outstanding tracks.

the live disc is a million times better than the actual
release though, regardless of the quality of the actual
release. suprisingly i'm really only a big fan of the LWTUA
cover. and i don't like the original.

I love the whole motherfucking release!

Whats the deal with the LWTUA being on there???

It's not particularly different to the original. I'm not a
fan of either so i don't really know much about it. But it
sounds pretty similar.

Is it a cover or just an altered form?

track 4 is my fave...the on that sounds like a splatterbeat
polka tune....he played it live when i saw him and it was
awesome!

The first track is amazing, but I never seem to listen to
the rest. The live disc is ok. I don't see the point of
having a couple of the same tracks on the live disc as on
the actual release though.

I like thie release. The First track is superb. And Track 4
too. The live CD is fantastic too. Generally an OK release.
Not just best but well worth a listen every now and then.

The title track blew me away, and actually still does. And I
like Anstromm Feck for a bit... that track got old quick
though.

Rest of it was blah. Love Will Tear Us Apart was more of a
novelty than anything.

what do you guys think about cd2?

is the quality that bad? (not for me)

no quality is not bad at all, i'm not a big fan of live
albums, but i think this one is fine. i saw squarepusher in
dallas in april and he exceeded my expectations. this cd was
my only idea of what he would sound like live.

offline ecnadniarb on 2004-06-01 12:46 [#01217956]

The title track was the best track on there and I already
have that on the one sided vinyl, so it wasn't new...the
rest was OK but not brilliant...for such a talented musician
I wish he would innovate a little more.

this and selection sixteen are so underrated

te problem with this album is that it came after he great go
plastic
but this release is so varied in styles, an all of the
tracks a re good in their style... and also it has two
killer tracks, and the design is so good, and it comes with
an extra live cd....

man this release is awesome

Yeah the first track is awesome. This is the first album I
listened by him, I believe. Anstromm-feck 4 is sweet too.
Very good album.

this release shows that if he really stayed focus (my
opinion, id say he doesnt..) but yeeah, if he really tried
he could come out with an awesome album (that everyone would
love : P )
like this album, starts off really well with do u know', and
then is all over the place and then just goes down n down :

Jenkinson got up on day and thought that he should make some
musics for his new album. He couldn't be arsed though
knowing that there was a hot IDM party at the local watering
hole where IDM shenanigans would lead to IDM tales of lust
and wonder. He loaded Annstromm-Feck 4 up in IDM
sequencer-of-choice, Garageband, and switched some of the
instruments around by randomly clicking while holding one
hand over his eyes, thinking that the job was a goodun he
gave the track to the team of deaf homeless children he gets
to do his mastering and jumped on his IDM scooter and went
to the pub to hit on the hot IDM chicks (both of them) by
leering 'DO YOU KNOW SQUAREPUSHER?' loudly in their faces.
He was not successful and so picked up an IDM chicken and
mushroom pie and went home for an IDM wank.

an IDM wank is exactly the same as a normal wank except you
try to lap your semen up, like a cat at a saucer of milk, as
it flies through the air.

me too, its quite hard to get it in your mouth at first but
after a lot of practice, when you finally feel that warm
saltiness hit your taste buds, well thats just the best
feeling ever.

I'm surprised there isn't more love for the third track,
"Kill Robock". It's one of the best tracks he's done, I
reckon, and it's unlike anything else I've heard.

I wasn't very impressed with this at all. I think it has
about three good tracks on it. The title track is great.
Mutilation colony is an interesting experiment.
Anstromm-feck 4 is great to dance to. The rest leaves me
cold. Covering Joy division was and always should be
ill-advised.

Amstrong Feck 4 reminds me of Video game Boss music
and I love it.
