that's the story (as far as i know): a few weeks ago horsefactory (i think) posted something about a decent hiphop mix by rob brown. it turned out that some folks did already know about it but wanted to keep it under their hands cause this 'i'm an insider, you're not' is so much fun obviously. the thread was deleted (or i'm to dumb to find it) then there was another topic, pretty same punchline - *some* people who knew it wouldn't even comment on the music and were all like 'you shoudln't even know blah blah that's when i got pretty pissed off and decided to bring down that elitist shit. it took me a week to eventually get it off slsk, big thanks to horsefactory, titsworth and quite a ot of other guys. anyone can get it off slsk now, it's labeled as rob brown ultra rare hiphop mix (just enter 'rob brown mix'). for those who don't want to use slsk, i host this thingy, just send a mail with your xltname to here hurry up, since i can't do this forever, in fact i'll take it down again pretty soon. it's really great music, 3 full legth cds in nice quality. anyone should check this out. if you're not sure, start with cd1 track 2 maybe :) |

phobiazero was one of those who said that this mixtapes shouldnt be on soulseek... and that cannot be an "'i'm an insider, you're not' attitude, as he didnt even have it. he just knew what hanal had asked in return to the people he sent the mix. teapot was the other saying this. and I am sure he was not acting moved by any 'i'm an insider, you're not' attitude. he´s never acted that way. he just respects hanal´s petition in return to hanal´s trusting him. who else in your opinion had this attitude you talk about? |

sorry you see that. cheffe has all the right to do what he did (hosting it and making it public if he believes in that), but there was no need of talking shit about people inventing reasons, when those were not true... that is what gets on my nerves. and the other thing I dont like is the fact that he doesnt say: hey, I just think this should be for everybody, but sorry for saying things that what not true. |
