Looks fucking awesome, been decades since I've played a
truly classic old school 2D side scroller. Too many games in
queue right now though, maybe I'll rent it. I watched a
video review and that game is definitely a pretty boy when
in motion.

Is this game just a beat 'em up a la Double Dragon? If so
doesn't it get old really quick?

Double Dragon doesn't get old though, I'd gladly play
through the 2nd one right now for the 20,000th time if I
wasn't a solitary figure.

it is "beat em up game" but the opponents you face along
your journey have different tactics in fighting. you also
have to use your noggin from time to time to figure out
things. i highly recommend it
