Has anyone noticed that RDJ constantly uses the same
sounds/synths/programes?
For example the strings in the waxen pith is the same as
girl/boy.
There are loads of these...
You'd think he would be able to use new sounds as he is
supposed to be a whiz at ceating analog back in the days.
But,I suppose if you've got something good, use it.

Has anyone noticed any other examples of these?

There are many I have noticed,but I can't remember.
I know theres a sample almost cut and pasted from Bouncing
Ball used in another track...

Yeah but they're remixes,so thats expected. He tends to just
remix his old tracks and name them after a soung hes asked
to remix, sometimes he even throws in a sample of the said
track.

Does he sample a whole piece of music or do you mean that he
uses the same instrument/patch/preset on both songs?

(I don't have waxen pith)

Using the same instruments over and over is nothing. We
would run out of different strings and snare drums pretty
fast.

Actually , the beat of one of the songs in Classics, (i
think its "Phlange Phace"), is actually almost the same as
the entire song "afx 114" (on Caustic Windowc compilation).
Check it out!!!

i've notice that word "puck" in a few of his songs also.
using the same samples in different songs is a good thing.
its interesting to hear the same noise used in different
ways.

this is true - very good song too.

also, track 12 on AB3 is actually the ambience/melody of
Garden of Limniri by Caustic Window.
