This weekend I'm going to see one of my favorite bands Ween two nights in a row. Friday and Saturday nights I will be watching them rock out at the Vic Theatre in Chicago. They are recording Saturday (and Sunday also, which I'm not attending) for a future DVD release. So my friend and I are going to be up in the front for Saturday. I'm going to review the shows for a magazine I write for and I'll be sure to post it whenever it's done.
I know there are some other Ween fans here. Have any of you seen them live? On this tour or in the past?

I saw them during Pure Guava tour ... one of the best shows ever. I just remember mushrooms beforehand. They did a great cover of Dazed and Confused or some other classic Zep tune. It's all pretty hazy.

quebec is damn good but it's not my favorite. i like em in this order:
roughly.. 1. chocolate and cheese 2. the mollusk 3. white pepper 4. quebec 5. the pod 6. pure guava 7. god ween satan
their "where'd the cheese go?" jingle might be my favorite ween ever.
