I always thought it was pronounced 'Afex' Twin, but recently a friend I've heard someone say it was 'Apex.' Is that true? Thanks.

now about the Autechre pronounciation, I have wondered about that... but I read somewhere that they themselves pronounce it A-Tek-er, so, that's how I pronounce it...

Well considering the first disk he put out was called AFX. Its only natural that it would be (pho·neti·cal·ly of course) a ·fx ·Twin.
