yes, the U.S. has plenty of fondue. I've been to a resturant called the Fondue Pot or something like that. They had special tables, pots, and forks for being able to fit 15 people around a couple of fondue pots and stuff themselves on various dipping edibles like bread, meats and vegetables.

i love fondue, i once made two of my friends sick as they watched me eat a whole one by myself, i guess it was just too much cheeses for them to handle :)
I also tried a chocolate fondue the other week in a pub, very nice!

fondue KING *chuckles*
well i've only had CHOCOLATE fondue, and ohhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaa......it was heavenly.
they put pecans in the chocolate and served fresh fruits and a few different cakes to put the fondue over since the cake would fall apart if you dipped it. =0)
i've heard cheese fondue is really bland tasting for some reason, unless the cheese is really strong or spiced up. i LOOOOOOVE cheese and i'd like to try it on steamed veggies.....mmmMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm
