yesterday night I gave a deep listen to YosepH and well I
like it.
I always loved acid sounds and this is release is a good
jump in the past.

A very original and particular album by Luke Vibert... maybe

it miss something to be a wonderful release.

i agree with woofer attack YosepH lacks something especially
in the last tracks.
It features a bunch of very good tracks like Stan d'infamy
or acidisco they're examples of a very meticoulous
electronica.
anyway i love this album.

I forgot to say that track7 'ambalek' is really cool, i
could define it an acid-ambient track. Try to check.

Nothing.

I don't really see how one can give it a "deep" listen. Just
seems like something you'd put on to jam out to, or smile
at. I only liked one track on the whole thing, though.

It's simple and rough and bouncy. Some nice tracks, but I'm
sure some of you could easily match it! Still, it's a bit of
fun I guess.

ahahahaaaaaaa.....

i really don't think many people here could match it like
you seems to think...
people often don't realize that it may just sound simple, in
fact i would really like to hear xlters sounding that good,
seriously even if it's simple 4/4 funky acid stuff...

Me: YospepH is fucking sick. The only track I don't
particularly care for is ambalek.,. Acidisco is a fucking
instant calssic, along with ILoveAcid. The Album is
seriously solid, even though it's rather simple. A VERY
PLEASING LISTEN.

When I first heard it I didn't think it was anything special
and just wrote it off as dance music. But I like it more and
more every time I listen to it. Track one is a favourite.
And there are some really catchy melodies/synth lines or
whatever you call it in there.

has a good time making his tunes.

Acidisco is one of the best luke vibert songs ever... the
rest of the album comes up really short, although it makes a
more fitting album if you play yoseph and sorry I made you
lush in winamp on random. It would have made a better double
album than two single albums.

Incidentally, when I saw luke vibert live, he played most of
the material from these two albums, and it sounded great...
definately music meant for the club.

Yoseph is one of my favorite albums of all time.
i have listened to it maybe in excess of 50-60 times and i
love every track.
its one of those albums that i cant get tired of.
aciddisco is great however it is a bit too similar to
tommorow acid which is possibly the better version.

i first listened to this album driving along a dark windey
california highway (the 17 going from san jose to santa
cruz, for those who care) on an extremely rainy night in a
cab at 3 in the morning, because my flight was delayed.

if was odd, barrelling along this awful road scared for my
life, but inside i was just aching to wiggle my butt.

What an excellent release. the title track is mindblowing,
as is nok tup. I love acid and acidisco are two other
greats.

I consistently find vibert's music very fresh, creative; has
some sort of sunny quality to it, has an infectious mood.

Seriously though, the title drack, find it now if you don't
know it.

Jean Jacques Perrey and Luke Vibert - Moog Acid
apperantly coming out in september. my favourite by him this
year.

Vibert Simmonds - Rodulate
another collaboration with simmons being released on
rephlex.

i love the album! there is one thing that fucken bothers me.
would've been so much better without the voice samples, like
"wait, as i reset the atari" and "clap your heads" on the
last two tracks. sounds so off and out of place. it just
annoys me that they made it onto the album because it kinda
ruins the songs for me abit. other than that, i really do
like the album.
