my connection went to shit earlier today and i wanted to
know why - i decided to scan my comp for spyware and i found
something named "CSS Hijack" categorized as "Malware."

I don't know what this means, but the fact that the word
"hijack" was in there gives me chills. and yes, my
connection is SHIT right now (26400 kbps) its usually at
46000 kbps.

i know i'm not speaking english here - but could someone
tech-savvy give me some explanation?

Install a bandwidth monitor like AnalogX Netstat Live and
see if you have lots of outgoing traffic. If you do, you
might be serving up teh pr0n.

And for god's sake, use Mozilla Firebird! It's so much
better than IE it isn't even funny.

Word. I don't see how anyone except the totally computer
illiterate can use IE these days.

my connection is 24000 kbps right now - aarrrrggghhh

come to think - i also remember another thing about the
moment my connection initially started to become fucked - i
had just saved an acrobat pdf file, and for some reason
acrobat was still open when the connect... ah fuck it that
couldn't have been it.

think my server just is shit right now for some
uncontrollable reason? does this happen with all ISPs now
and then?

i'm totally gonna bitch out tech support...

Jesus oddio, ya type netstat live into google and click on
the "I'm feeling lucky" button. That should also work for
Mozilla Firebird. Which, by the way, has its own Google
search field on the toolbar.
