If it was possible to get everyone, or at least those who
need it, to give it a fair chance, then I do think it would
make a difference. Even if it didn't completely erase all
feelings of anger from someone, the chance to reassess one's
priorities in a peaceful environment free from the pressures
of others could bring about a significant change.

this tiny voice from the wilderness says that consciously
choosing to embrace peace with all people is the best any of
you could do.

what good is commitment, if it is not made manifest?

first one must choose to love, and then one may seek the
beloved.

proposal to construct 100 "war palaces" across America.

but beyond lynch and the twisted labirynth of his mind, here
is a more "scientific" take on the issue of global
transcendental meditation:

a href="http://www.mum.edu/m_effect/">the maharishi
effect

that's also a site supporting transcendental meditation,
without noting any references (to papers, documents outside
of that site, for example).

it doesn't really matter if it works or not... so long as
people are touched wherever these projects manifest
themselves...

I was up at 4.30am and heard Lynch on Radio 4 talking about
this thing of his. It was a Lynchian experience in itself.

Cool chap, interesting ideas. They won't work, because the
world's not like that. Maybe he should make a film about it
instead. That'd be interesting to see.

Not sure. I was semi-conscious at the time. Try and find a
schedule for Radio 4 today. Like I said, it was about 4.30
am.
