I have an amazing record entitled "Binaural Demonstration
Record: A remarkable listening experience for stereo
headphone owners demonstating the phenomenal realism of
binaural sound recording." ITS GREAT!! so many good samples
from this one. a lot of street sounds and children talking
and stuff. Do any of you have other great oldies?

the coolest piece of old vinyl my mom has is a copy of War's
"All Day Music" signed by the members of War, (she shared a
cab with them apparently)... one of them wrote his signature
and message backwards, like he's dislexic or something...
plus All Day Music is a fuckin' wicked album... the title
track is one of my favourite songs of all time

I got lots of old stuff, but my favorite has to be the vinyl
for this norwegian kiddie-tv show about a big yellow bird
that can't fly, and which likes to eat chocolate-pudding. It
was called Ghullars.

I know my father has some old Johnny Cash vinyl. He never
listen to them, so I'm gonna steal them the next time I'm
home.

i've nicked my dad's recording of the moon landings and john
glen's trip into space.

there's a second hand bookshop near me with a huge selection
of old vinyl - mostly classical but i've picked up some good
stuff from there, such as 'the great learning' by the
scratch orchestra.

Electric Love - by the Electronic Concept Orchestra

nothing but cheesy love songs - minus the lyrics - all on
keyboards, moogs, synthesizers etc. - from the 60s or 70s i
believe - delicious stuff.

A russian import of the Beatles' White Album. The vinyl is
about 1/2cm thick!

pink floyd - dark side of the moon
pink floyd - a nice pair (piper at the gates + saucerful of

i never listened to them as my record player doesnt play
that format (78 rpm i think)...

how easy is it to buy a new turntable w/o buying a DJ setup
(ie: 2 turntables + mixer)? what i really want is a stereo
that has dual tape decks, a 3-5 cd changer, radio, and then
a record player on top. i've seen these before but not in
many years. i'm going to hit up thrift shops and pawn shops
but i was wondering how cheap these go for new, if they're
still made.

it's not hard to find single record players... if you only
want it for playing stuff, you may as well just check those
pawn shops... if you're interested in more than that, just
go to any music instruments store
