man, i've been SO fucking anxious this weekend. the first
reviews of my albums ever will be up on Monday.

i'm nervous and excited - i hate waiting for good things to
happen - it kills me.

regardless, it may be a bad review - this has also crossed
my mind. so i quenched my anxiety with some drunkness last
night, but now it's back. it's like something eating at my
gut.

anyone here have anxiety problems?

and being involved in a sport which highlights the crotch
area (often being smashed) doesn't help.

well it's actually my first two releases on crazyfungus -
BARON VON UGLY and DAILY DOSE OF CANCER. You can take a
listen to them HERE without leaving.

Baron Von Ugly fairly analog-breakbeat driven with some
experimentation w/ glitch, jazz, jungle, ambient and
breakbeats. Daily Dose of Cancer is a bit more UP, most of
the instrumentation is very analog, and the rhythm is very
bouncy and swingy. Also some industrial and minimal ambient
influences. Blurps and bleeps and bloops.

yes, she can be kind sometimes but always manages to wrack
your nerves - like a marraige and children.

Oddio - drinking to ease anxiety will probably just make
things worse ; )

Whatever happens, you wont be able to control it so there is
really no reason to worry about it. If you like your music
yourself there'll probably be a lot of people out there who
feels the same.

hey, thanks man. by the way, how are your tunes?

actually, i drink every weekend for the hell of it - it's my
time to unwind, it's just that with the label possibly being
up in the air and all, and this coming up, i just happened
to have a particular reason to drink last night and this
morning.

I got SUCH bad anxiety after quiting smoking!
Seriously common problem, about half my friends (especially
those not in regular jobs) have had/got it at some point.
Yeah drinking works in the short term - But if you find
drinking helps you're prolly on the road to being an
alcoholic, same with other drugs... I wish there was a safer
alternative to cigarettes, doesn't look like there ever will
be though.

problems, aside from last night and this morning.

Hope everything goes well with the CD!
What I do when I send stuff out is just move on straight
away and get on with new material - Anxiety and obsessive
compulsive disorder can help you immensley! They can make
you work like a mad man on your music - I find it fuels my
creativity - Which is one reason I haven't gone back to
smoking weed yet.

I dont get panic attacks but I'm stressed out about 75
percent of the time. Right now stress is low, which is
nice.

anxiety sucks. seriously. i had it pretty bad in high
school, not as bad as some people i know, but i would leave
school quite often because i couldn't deal with everyone.
i'm ok now though, thanks for asking.

Yes, major anxiety problems. Whole days get sucked away
while I worry and I never want to leave the house, ever. But
you know what would make me feel better? Some Oddioblender
spinning on my Winamp. Mmm, that's the stuff dreams are made
of.

yeah i still get social anxiety every now and then. not so
much as going to a mandatory event with people, but it's
when i call people. i rarely pick up the phone and dial, and
i get very anxious when i do. i dunno why..

you'll have to post up that review when it's done.. it shall
be interesting, i bet..

also, speaking of anxiety.., i was feeling pretty shittily
anxious a day or two ago, while "competing" at the battle of
bands in minneapolis, after staying up all night before it..

I get nervous when I call people too, even if I don't know
them. I think they'll say "So. Yeah, what do you want. Ok.
So. Yeah, did you want anything, i gotta go" and I don't
like that.

i've dropped out of highschool for a semester over anxiety
and constantly struggle with it -- i get to the point where
i can't do anything -- can't sleep, cant' wake, can't wash,
can't eat, around stupid stuff really.. commitments and
obligations.. it really makes me miserble more than anything
else. biggest problem in my life right now.

It sounds like you might have a severe mental retardation
rather then anxiety.

I feel your pain. Replace ''high school'' with ''college'',
which I've dropped out of for a year, and we're dead
ringers, just about. But I do shower.

The thing with me is I never realised I had anxiety until I
stopped smoking weed and cigarettes - Before I'd just get a
little stressed out and go and smoke - Now there's nothing I
can do when the stress creeps up so it just keeps
climbing...

Yeah anxiety is a massive problem these days - 1 in 10
Japanese kids is completely bedroom bound (more severe than
agrophobia) - It's called Hikikomori - It's affecting
millions right now - They sit and play Tekken non-stop for
years on end without even seeing their own family!

No doubt because of the hecticness of their society - But
it's gradually happening everywhere.

When I used to sell weed I'd meet tonnes of ppl who "needed"
to get stoned every day - It's exactly how I was back then
too.
