i completed a new track, a
juxtaposition-of/influenced/inspired by chiastic
slide-era-ae, nes music (castlevania/mario dungeon music)
and tim burton/danny elfman film scores..
if this sounds at all interesting to you, please listen
and/or tell me your thoughts.. because it's only 3,83 mb..
only several seconds of wasted time on broadband..
several hours on dialup..
you know the score..

Nice little track... definitly see the influences, brings
back some goooood memories

The arpeggios are really nice... clean, neat sound, great
progression in the song over all. Hard to think of
suggestions, really well done scape

Maybe clean up the bass line, make it throb harder? That
would add some serious punch to the middle, could see
spinning this at a rave and getting some major lightstick
salute

Nice work!

I should have another track up as soon as it finishes
uploading, keep a look out for my thread

I picture mario jumping down a pipe only to reemerge in a
glass hash pipe in a huge upside down MC escher painting.

After hitting the first question block mario has a acid
flashback and the rest of the game takes place with him
running around in war fatigues that morph into the princess
dress and back into war fatigues.

Good track!

definitely has a spooky/silly movie soundtrack feel to it.
i've not heard any music from video games, so i can't
relate. i do like the crackly reverb percussion, and i
especially like the restated melody and squidgy percussion
when things cool down at two minutes. not really my style
but a nice track for halloween.
