Please take a moment and rate some tracks in the
discography. We'll then be able to generate lists to find
out the most popular track by Aphex Twin, Autechre, Plaid,
D'Arcangelo etc... hell, even the most popular track in the
whole discography! Once all tracks on a release have been
rated the average rating on the release is calculated and
we'll then have lists on most popular albums, eps.... By
rating a particular track you affect the general rating on
all releases it appears on (including different
catalogue-numbers, ep's and albums).

Look, it's not a matter of life and death and rating tracks
might be bizarre for some people, but it's a fun thing so
don't take it too seriously, so don't start whining about
it!

I guess once when it's all been settled and stabilized it'll
be useful for newcomers, and/or if you're not familiar with
a specific artist, to find out what stuff to check out
first?! For example, you wanna check out Legowelt. What to
begin with? Perhaps an album with an average rating of 4.50
than 1.30? That would be my suggestion.

Tip!
Wanna know the longest track released by Richard D. James?
Simply list all tracks by Richard D James in
the discogaphy. Sort it by tracklength. Voila! (If you
select Richard D James in the artist box instead of Aphex
Twin in the alias box you'll make sure to include all
Richards aliases, not only Aphex Twin, see the difference?
Good.)

I'll stop rambling now.....

I went through most of the albums I know and voted on all
the tracks. Cool feature.

Except when you try to click on the "strotha tyne" track on
"drukqs" it says "no such track" so you can't rate that one
:\

you can choose the option "discuss this release" when you've
clicked on a release in the discography

great new feature imo, there can't be too much of these
threads, after all it's what the messageboard was intended
for in the first place (among other things) imo

i don't know if it's for premium members only, it should be
there when you click on a release in the discog and scroll
down...

I did a few but the sheer size of the discography was a bit
daunting. Quiet day in the office today so I'll go mad with
it later. :)

Phob?
Once I voted a song, is it possible to get back to the main
artist page?
instead of selecting the name of the artist again and go
through all the steps again??
