by Spiritualized.
only song i've ever heard by them, and it's not too bad. the chemical brothers remix is one of their best, and i think improves the track quite a bit. is the rest of spriritualized's stuff like this?
on a side note, i am happier than i've been in months, now i've got myself a girlfriend *sings "i think i'm in love"*

the remix is a nice alternative but that kind of sound isnt really what spiritualized are about.
ladies & gentlemen we are floating in space is defintely the place to start if you want to hear some of their stuff - the track is from that album.

You know like how they have covercharge for stripclubs or whatever because people just went in and sat down, didn't buy anything, and watched the women. And things like that. I sort this comedy routine on those things, "I'm the reason..." I think it was Saturday Night Live. Anyway, one of those things I suggested was putting a syringe in and under a couch cushion at like second hand stores and things. A friend was about to sit on a couch and I said people put syringes under there so when you sit down the syring jabs you in the butt and you get Hep C or HIV or something. And she said, "No they don't," and dismissed it that quick.
Now I find this syringe in cushion thing quite plausible and I think it could take off. I, personally, would never do that, but it could happen, don't you think? I mean, when they sit down they're likely to snap the needle, so. But within the cushion it'd probably be supported enough so when they sit down the needle jabs them clean in the buttocks and injects with something awful.
I mean, some people set up syringes in public toilets so when you pull the paper it comes out and stabs you. I live in a small hick town and someone was smart enough to sit a syringe in the toilet seat to stab a woman (she saw it though).

It's not an urban myth, you naive bastard. Right then, I was listening to The Police's I'll Be watching You (I downloaded Roxanne too) off Limewire. You know, it stops the download and downloads off another user for a minute and you end up with a song made up from other mp3s but it sounds perfect. Fucker has one minute of Puffy's cover on it. Anyway, as I was saying, people hold up stores with syringes and everything. I've never heard of jabbing people (I guess that could be like that pellet on the umbrella thing in the leg). But the syringe in a couch thing was just an idea I had to make life harder for others. People really do put syringes set up in paperrolls in toilets to get you though,...

Syringes in movie theatre seats? That's even better. I really did think I was coming up with a sophisticated new idea here, I conceed that it will never happen now. But the syringes in toilet paper rolls and robbing people with an old syringe, those are all truth.

I have this curse in that I always fall for friends of mine who have boyfriends... so, firstly they're already taken, but secondly they just see me as a friend so they'd probably never consider anything more then that... I swear, it always happens...
