...that has no opposite?
I mean like numbers, vampires and letters.
They have no opposites.
What can I label them?

i thought singular meant there was only one, as in an
antonym to plural?

(numbers have opposites! 6 is the opposite of -6 for
example...)

well, why would you give such a thing a name : )

and it's not even clear what the opposite of something is.
you could say the opposite of man is woman
but you could also say that the opposite of man is machine
or that the opposite of man is nam
or that the opposite of man is "not man"
etc...

I'd say things have one opposite, but words can mean
different things...

yeah a positive number is the opposite of a negative number
(except for 0 and -0 [or am I wrong?])...

infinity isnt zero, because a value is considered defined
(meaning it exists) if its zero, but if its infinity, its
not defined, because infinity is just any reaaallly big
number. the oposite of infinity is negative infinitey (huge
numbers, but theyre negative, thus reaalllllyyyy small)

the opposite of 'infinity' is 'quantifiable' perhaps?
