I don't care how many Underworld threads there already are,
this song kicks my fucking ass... it's so awesome!! Nice
beat, great bass line, cool piano twinkles towards the end,
nice vocals, excellent melody, etc, etc... just love it to
pieces!!

Dirty Epic is fantastic.
Dubnobass is a thousand times better than Second Toughest
(which is still my least favourite UW album).

Ah, but I like the first two tracks on Second Toughest. :P

that'd be enough for me, also because the first track (and
the second) is so long. i've listened to the whole album
just a few times maybe, just the first song alot

Same here!

Underworld is amazing, I've seen them live twice. One of my
favorite artists.

Dirty Epic is lush, on the same plain as halycon on + on. I
had the privelage of hearing/seeing it live as well.

Dirty Epic is awesome.

and it transcribes so well the little melancholy of these
aspects of modern life... no drama, nothing really grievous,
but some kind of "sub-life", routine, desensitivation...
distortion of desire, too much desire killing the desire,
the desire getting cold and sad... (it's a sad thing, i
think too much of X always kills X no matter what X is)...

...it's a bit like what's described in Stinkfist by Tool
maybe.

both great songs.

if i'm interpreting it right.

spectacular release!
probably one of my all-time favorites. I bet I'll still be
listening to it when I'm eighty, and my great grandchildren
will go like:

eww, what's that shit?? sounds like something from
before the beginning of evolution!

whereas I'll reply:
STOP FUCKIN' MOANIN'!

you want a lolly?

Yes it is. To me there isn't a bad point to the song, which
can be rare for longer songs.
