radiohead - fog (again) Live

This song sounds fantastic! I can't get over it... the
difference between this and the original "fog", is the same
as with Spinning Plates. The live versions of both are
haunting pianodriven tracks. Both much more emotional than
the studio-recordings. I love it!
It can be found on the Go To Sleep single.

The song: "i am a wicked child" is also really nice, but
very surprising and totally unlike any other radiohead song
i've ever heard.

"It can be found on the Go To Sleep single."

CD One.

I bought both versions of it. I hate it when bands do that
though :-( Spread their b-sides over two versions of the
same single. Why is that?

"spinning plates live is one of my fav radiohead
btw
"

You should LOVE this one then! Spinning Plates live
is one of my favourites too, and 'fog(again)' is just like
it. Same atmosphere, same sound... it's just great.

I remember when this was called Alligators in the New York
Sewers on its debut performance back in 2000... when I heard
the studio version I was devisated. I still don't really
like the studio one.
That said, I much prefer the studio version of LSP... the
novelty of the live one wore off after a while.

Maybe it was 1999 then? I don't think it was any earlier
than '99, though.

you're wrong..

anyway, i like the live and studio versions of fog equally,
and the studio version of LSP a bit more than the live
version.. you can't beat those backward looped instruments

So much seems to have happened with Radiohead since 1999,
it's a rreal confusion knowing what came when.

I love them.

There's a little child
Runnin' 'round this house
And he never leaves
He will never leave
And the fog comes up
From the sewers and
Glows in the dark
Baby alligators in the sewers
Grow up fast
Grow up fast
Anything you want it can be done now
How did you bad?
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad?
Some things will never wash away
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad?

I've never seen them live, but they're supposed to be really
good on stage. (well... how could they not be good with such
great songs?).

i hope for your sake they'll bring their piano and play that
wonderful version of Fog :-p

I kinda wanted to go to that show too... but i thought it
was kinda expensive and i don't like that it's in the
gelredome.

In retrospect, i wish i'd had gone to their tent-tour when
Kid A had just been released. But oh well. Maybe they'll
grow unpopular in a few years time, and they'll be playing
the small room of paradiso with incredibly cheap tickets ;-)

i don't know either if the gelredome is such a good place
for this, but then again this is the only concert they do in
the netherlands and i felt i just HAD to see'em now.

and what's 40 bucks? you can buy 2 cd's for that.. :P

yeah, in their case, i agree...

im afraid i wont see em before theres some bad accident and
half of them die or something monstrous liek that. :(

yeah, you're probably right... I just know i'm gonna regret
not going afterwards ;-)

The next time they stop by the netherlands i'm going :-p I
don't care where they play or how much it costs.

"and what's 40 bucks? you can buy 2 cd's for that..
:P
"

heh, i love how you measure things by how many cd's you
could buy for it :-p I do that all the time... when i'm
considering buying something, i always consider how many
cd's i could get for that much money ;-)
