her best is "debut"
as fresh as as an icelandic record could be ; the other are
cool too xpt verspertine - "too much production" not enough
good song - homogenic is brillant, quite romantic...
also check leila (on rephlex)

I'd start with Homogenic too. Truly excellent album.

Vespertine has that quiet, clicks-and-bells, small-details
IDM sound, but not as much variety as H.

Debut's great too, but not really 'IDM', whatever that
means.

Check 'where is the line' and 'nameless'. quite noisy and
experi-mental new material she played on her recent tour.
Her new album isn't out yet, so there's only live versions,
but I think they're enjoyable.

Get the Live box set, 40 bucks and it has songs from all her
albums plus a dvd. You can't go wrong, Vespertine live
sounds better than the album.
