Got to go to a sneak peek of this movie last night here in
my city, not bad id have to say, over all I wasnt in a
movie mood, but went anyway, cause I knew it wouldbe atleast
alright.

The story is good, ofcourse - it wasnt cheesy or nothing, it
was good. Overall it wasnt Freddy VS. Jason.. (which in my
eyes was fuckin awsome). But uh.. yeah go see this movie.

Are you talking about the original?

If so I thought it was atrocious, save for the last 10
seconds or so, which was genius.

I don't see the point of this... the original was damn near
perfect. I'll download it or something. And I think it's
time for a trip to IMDB.com to read some reviews, this movie
kind of snuck up on me.

yeah. IMO it was a waste to redo tcm. like redoing psycho
and lolita. why? the originals were so good. can't they
think up new ideas?

The difference between this and the remake for psycho was
psycho was word for word and (almost) shot for shot
identical to the original. From what I have heard, this one
is a new movie baised upon the storyline for the original
movie. Nothing wrong with that.

I am seeing this one tonight. For free.

i still enjoy the Tobe Hooper original, personally. but if
it's based on the original storyline, it's probably worth
seeing.

it should be. it's pretty well known. if you can get Romero
films or The Shining on DVD, then Texas Chainsaw Massacre
should be easy to find.

yes evolume, go to best buy and for $17.99 you can get the
limited edition dvd which came out this week.. has
commentary from the director and leatherface (the actor, i
doubt he's in character but wouldn't that be fun)
