Sorry I haven't...
But I do like to sit down with people and listen to what
they have to say.
Discussing is nice.

you have -us-.
If you want support or something, just post whatever
problems you might have,
and we'll discuss them.

Making friends isn't hard - just talk to people who seem
interesting and you may click. Not too difficult. :D

Going to a psychologist turned my overwhelming depression
into normal, everyday unhappiness.

I'm cutting myself 80% less.. it's great.

Good luck!

I dont have any "probelms" in that sense. I need to change a
few of my "behavioural patterns"....

Everyone should go.

Even if you don't think you have any problems, chances are
you do..

yeah.
If you feel this is going to help you - go. You should be
positive about it... if you wanna change something.

I would never go to a psychiatrist unless I was forced. It
is an overhyped profession and in general not very good.

Only mad people go to the loony doctor! That's how people
see it here. I don't know anyone who's been to one. Here
people just drink and eventually kill themselves. Oh yeah,
they drink ALOT.

I'd go to a psych if it was free, maybe... God knows, I need
it.

Tell us how it goes, I'm interested... I wonder if he'll try
to hypnotize you (or seduce you).

I went to a psychologist when I was younger. I didnt really
see the point; all we did was play this word game thing. I
dont think it helped much.

its nice to talk to someone who actually listens....but
beware, theres some pretty bad doctors out there...
but its a plus if psychology actually interests you!
i go once a week :D

psychiatrists are a scam to get your money.

offline sadist from the dark side of the moon on 2006-01-04 04:13 [#01811607]

psychiatrists really suck - it mostly looks like this - you
are winning your heart out one hour, pay your money and go
home.

okay - you are happier afterwards actually but the same
thing could do everybody of your family/friends.

i'm sure that you are just a shy person who doesn't want to
shame himself.

but i really think you should talk to someone you know and
cry your heart out.

for me it works great (with my gf)

unless you want it to work it wont

ive been in and outta therapy since i was a kid...

need to see another soon to get anti-anxiety meds...

it worked quite well for me and as such i stopped going - i
had a very, "alright, let's make this work so we can move on
with our lives" type approach and i worked at it!!!

i suggest it to anyone

tell him your main problem is that ANALord is not on a
regular format (CD even if i think vinyl IS a regular
format) that keep him interested for months...

My psychology teacher pretty much demanded that I go to some
sort of therapy, but I know if I did I would make up stories
in an effort to stump or entertain my listener.
