I'm currently rocking their 'The Colour of Spring' album.
Anyone rate these guys?

Loved Talk Talk for years... Spirit of Eden is their best
one but Colour of Spring is very good too. The solo Mark
Hollis album (no title) is also very good. And Friese-Green
has chruned out some nice solo stuff too.
First heard Talk Talk on an 80's (vinyl) compilation called
Chart Attack! Featuring hits by such luminaries as Captain
Sensible, Haircut 100, The Kids From Fame and Fat Larry's
Band

Didn't they win a court battle with their record label after
the label tried to drop them for not writing 'mainstream'
songs any more?

All the albums from Colour of Spring and onward are worth
checking out...

I like some of their stuff but I can understand why they're
not everyone's cup of tea. However 'Life is what you make
it' is classic and a darn good title too.
