Well my dear friends, it's been a while! I have found
myself in need of the assistance from those with musical
knowledge, and what better place to look??

Alright, let's cut to the chase...
This guy was hinting around tonight about asking me to "be
his girl". The way he went about this hintage was by saying
to another person in the room (Josiah, for future
reference), "Have you heard the song 'Do You Want to be my
Girl'?" I of course being somewhat clueless and absorbed in
the movie didn't notice until Josiah later said "Amber, did
you not catch that?"... so he explained that it was all a
set up.

Now I have to come up with a reply to the subtle question
"Do you Want to be my Girl", and I think the only proper way
to go about that would be to find a corresponding song
title. But I'm stuck! Any suggestions?

(Oh, by the way, the answer to the question is 'yeah I'll be
your girl'... as opposed to like ' NO DIE IN HELL YOU
BASTARD! ')

"gagged shagged and body bagged" might let him know i'm his,
but in that dead-body dirty little secret that you'll never
forget kind of way. "i'm yours forever " is to serious and
might frighten him into thinking that i want a lot of
commitment which i've heard scares some guys and also i
really don't know if i'm up for "forever".

i mentioned this in a different thread.. but.. casually
bringing up the song "you'd be cuter if i shot you in the
face" by curl up and die, would possibly be appropriate..

I've too long been someone who looks for "signs" of interest
in people (ok, in ladies) and reading between the lines. If
you read hard enough you can see anything between the lines.
So, with that in mind, I have decided that I won't do that
any more, and that I'll be more straight forward.

So I'd go up to this guy and say "look, do you want to go
out with me or what? cos if you do just stop fannying about
making hints and get on and say it. If, hypothetically, you
were to ask me, hypothetically I'd say yes. But I'm not
going to second guess you all the time. I can't be arsed cos
it's a drain! And what's with that hair anyway, you kids
today with your daft hair styles and trousers fourteen miles
wide at the leg-end!?"

But that's just me.

Ok, I wouldn't say that to him cos I don't want a boyfriend,
not being gay an all.

I'll stop talking now.
