It's nice, but it does sound fake... really synthy. The high strings are alright, it's just the lower ones.

it's pretty good, does sound fake though. the strings kind of reminded me of the ones in draun quarter, they don't sound as fake there, as they are much more subtle.

I donno what you were trying to do there... but I have to agree... it sounded heavily synthesized. A good trick for doing more organic sounding stuff is to find individual notes in classical recording and sample-resequence them. Or you could have run most of those sounds through a combs filter. Those tend to add a natural warmth to all synthesized sounds.

it doesnt sound as synthy as you're all saying it does.. but nevermind that. it doesnt take away from the appreciation of it and it isn't so appallingly obvious that it makes the song itself bad. let's be honest.
what kind of filters are used to make some of the other overtly synthetic string/piano/whathaveyou samples sound more organic/warm?
