Do you everr sit in bed orr whateverr and rrememberr you
have something to tell someone and so you say in yourr
head...

I'm going to tell Mrr X that I have to go to the gym and i'm
going to tell him i was thinking about telling him and tell
him I was thinking about thinking about telling him and tell
him I was thinking about thinking about thinking about
telling him and tell him i was thinking about thinking about
thinking about thinking about thinking about telling him...

Until you want to die because you have pissed yourself off
so much with it?

I find myself repeating things to myself for some reason...
just a single thought, over and over without noticing it.

sometimes yes ' _ '

and more often, i think of threads i could post in a
messageboard (i must have dozens of thread ideas that got
lost during sleep like that...)

and more often too, i remind myself of some things i said,
some things i did, and i regret doing them... THEN i want to
die, more than when there's a recurring thought haunting
me...

having imaginary conversations with people i know in real
life... i do that very often too except that all these
conversations take part after my life, when i'm
reincarnated, in one of my fantasies...

and they're all very similar, there is often sadness,
loneliness and healing of this... love too... hope... etc...

I'm fucking glad I'm not "normal", what ever the hell that
means. What I mean is I don't concider myself normal, and no
one I know concider me normal either..

offline Anus_Presley on 2003-10-14 12:13 [#00901842]
Points: 23472 Status: Lurker

I'm norrmal.
When I was youngerr my birrthmarrk (was darrkerr) and that
kinda made me 'differrent', I had to develop a method of
talking to people that would distance myself frrom trruth
(in a way) so that things would not hurrt my feelings.
I still have it and people can still see it, but when you
grrow up things arre differrent. It is still a factorr
howeverr, but therre we go.
So I'm differrent to John Smith in one sense, but i'm still
norrmal.

yeah i go over things. over and over and over, until i get
deja vu again. i lay there in bed going over everything like
a computer caught in a feedback loop.
also i sometimes say something which sounds wrong, like
using the wrong tense of a verb, and i mutter it to myself
to try and justify it, to see if it sounds acceptable, then
i think...hang on am i saying this loudly......sometimes i
think i think to much, i think.

an example, id then think about u n something u did that
made em laugh n then id tell you in my head and u'd reply
etc etc etc

its odd i know

haha. and i thought i was the only one ... but anyhow, yes,
i have imaginary conversations with people all the time -
that is to say, i think of what i would like to say to such
and such a person (such as an ex-girlfriend, if i ever
chance across her, for instance), but it's a waste of
thought, really, because no matter how well i may have
rehearsed a conversation in my mind, i usually always end up
a babbling fool when faced with the situation in real life.

yes to both, I have conversations with myself and also laugh
out, but normally surpress it for reasons of dignity, but
end up walking along with a huge loony grin on my face. its
nice to know im not the only one, cos i asked some of my
mates and they thought i was mad, no i know i am if you guys
do it too. ;)

haha. i'm not sure if it's a blessing or a curse to be
different from the norm. as much as i relish pumpin'
autechre out of my car stereo instead of, say, 50 cent, i
sometimes wish i wasn't so cerebral in my going ons about
life. everything would be so much simpler then - getting a
date, actually enjoying watching TV and hearing top-40 music
blasting in mall elevators, etc. ... not to mention not
having imaginary conversations ... hehe

i have that too! often!

but sometimes i don't even know MYSELF what brings me to
laugh... it's not even a particular thought i don't know why
i find it funny, it's just - like this, i laugh and i don't
know why : )

if my brain had a switch to turn it down like a volume, so i
could watch films and things and not moan that 'that
wouldn't happen' and also so i could not try and get people
into idm by playing fingerbib followed by 6ie.cr, etc etc.
the list goes on. i dont care, i like my singleton brainy
weird-break from the norm-life. and so should you
xltronicers. i need some lager. night.

haha. no, i get told i'm handsome by women quite often, but
somehow it doesn't translate to getting dates, because i'd
rather converse on the meaning of existence and why 'lost in
translation' is in many ways superior to 'the virgin
suicides' rather than about whatever the last episode of
some crap sitcom on the telly was about. having a brain
gets you nowhere. mark my words!
