If you like that movie be sure to pick up True Romance, it
was written by Tarantino and Avery just like Resevoir dogs
and Pulp Fiction. They're a loose triology of sorts. It
was sold to fund the making of Resevoir dogs and directed by
Tony Scott(top gun). The story stayed mostly the same
though, and there are even refferences to True Romance in
Resevoir Dogs (Harvey Keitel speaks of Alabama--main
character from TR). Check it out if you liked RD. It has
Tarantino flavor ALL over it, and even has the mexican
standoff at the end as well ;) Ohh yea it also has the cop,
Scagnetti from Natural Born killers. This too was a partial
script from Tarantino bought and rewritten/directed by
Oliver Stone. Any more questions just ask, these movies are
great and I enjoy the intricate ties that relate these
movies to each other. True Romance has many characters in
it, Christian Slater, the Arquette girl, Samuel L Jackson,
Christopher Walken, tons of people that you've seen from one
movie to the next.

Ohh yeah pick up Killing Zoe too, it was out about the same
time Pulp FIction was, but it was Roger Avery by himself
that wrote it. You will see his style and how it
compliments Tarantino's in this movie.

True Romance I like a lot, but it's not as good.

at the end, when he runs out, I've heard a clip of the
audio, where they isolated his voice, and it was awesome,
but I seriously forgot what got said.

I don't recall where I heard that clip either.

Mr Pink might have got away, or he might have not.

Sorry to go off topic but I agree Jackie Brown is totally
underrated. I went into it with low expectations after
reading lots of negative reviews and it surprised me how
good it was. As Tarantino says, you have to get to know the
characters.

Mr Pink never gets away. Pink gets arrested and i think it's
right before white shoots orange. You have to have the
volume way up and you'll hear faint shots fired and "get
your hands up get your hands up" or something like that

Mr. Pink does get caught, be jeez it's been a while since
I've watched this too...

They all die.

It's the philosophical theme of the town of thieves.
Theives do not trust each other, and they do not take part
in becoming friends with other theives. That is the whole
point of this story. It is also based on early American
Development as ideas were proposed and debated.

The movie is a giant analogy, essentially the fact that as a
community and society, if everyone was unknown to everyone,
then complete choas would occur and the society would not
survive.

As illustrated in the movie, no one knew names, no one cared
about each other. The only thing was fear because the other
person was a thief, and thus would rob another thief with no
moral aspect.

I can dig up a few written papers on it if you wish.
