Anyone heard it yet? Cmon, I know some of you like them...
if someone has ripped some high quality VBR files I would be
more than hap-o-pappy to have you share them with me.

(of course I intend to purchase a copy like durr it's the
books)

I love it, it's fucking awesome.

i was gonna make a thread about it but after counting the
amount of times "venetian snares" appeared in the post, i
reconsidered.

I got the CD today - man the 192k mp3s that are floating
around really don't do it justice. It's amazing. No one else
sounds anything like The Books - they are true originals.

Ya know it's funny you mention Brave New Waves because the
track ps sounds like "um"s and giggles from the host, Patti
Schmidt...

ummumm

The Lemon of Pink samples are here

That site has lots of weird vocal samples and shit like a
guy reading an italian menu.... stuff like that shows up in
their music but is not the extent of it! Just in case anyone
were to become confused.

I like the new one alot too. I think the first one has a
few tracks with much more punch to them but the new one is
more consistent if you ask me, in that there are less
pauses. Been a big fan of Zammuto ever since Willscher.

It's pretty clean AFAIK - I haven't noticed any
swearymouth.

On the first one, Thought for Food, probably the best track
to play is the first one - Enjoy Your Worries,You May Never
Have Them Again. It's a real tour de force that stands on
its own. The rest of the tracks are also good but they make
more sense in the flow of the album. The first one is the
overture - it states the main themes and makes an
impression.

On the new one, hmmmm, play the 8th track, Take Time - it's
all upbeat and happy compared to Enjoy Your Worries which is
kinda apocalyptically elegiac. Both songs have amazing
surprising out of context vocal samples that make me laugh
with delight.

I can get you some hi-Q files on slsk if you like...

Alfred - congratulations, you're the third pirson I know of
who has Willscher. Now I have two or three whiskey sodas. :D
