First, let me state that I 'went into' this record with perhaps TOO high expectations.
But even if I'd have lowered them, I'd still be dissapointed with this mix.
(1) Too minimal [-1] (2) Not enough proto - Detroit shit [-1] (3) Not enough remixing (only Rhythm & Sound's Never Tell You sounded notably different) [-1]
That all said, Hawtin lays down the mix with fantastic skill, and I can't diss a fellow Canadian without feeling guilty.
7 / 10

I own this record. But haven't listened to it in a while. I remember thinking it was ok. Not fantastic, just good.

Hey guys, great minimal release...
you need to love this minimal stuff...
But one thing i share with you, is the mixing. I own the DE 9 record, this release is better in my opinion...

The DE 9 release is softer than the EFX & 909....

I own the CD, but Artifakts BC and Consumed are alot better. 'Psyk' is my all time favorite Plastikman tracks. I love minimal 303s with beats.
