Forget any remixing I say. THe main interesting concept here is the fun battle threads. THat way I can post stuff like "THe battle today between qrter, wearing the pink trunks with purple hearts, and ambsace wearing nothing at all was a massacre. Ambsace merely pulled out a single hi hat sound which totally annhilated qrter's composition, after which he fled the arena crying." I think that the purpose of remixing is mostly only social. It's like an act of mutual friendliness to remix eachother. Otherwise, it's just uneeded extra complications to try and find the assigned original song to remix in mp3 somewhere and to try to dice it up which isn't very good because you can't extract digital constituent units well that way. |

I think it would be pointless for one person to collect all the mp3's and host them on some different site or something. It's much simpler to just have each individual host their own mp3 on their own zebox/iuma/etc site probably. All we really need is a list of where each is located. w M w, aka "the stomper" |
