Yes that is what I mena by producers...Timeless is Rob
Playfords work...Goldie left Playford to be more independent
and Saturns Return was the result, mostly wank, with the
exception of the Optical produced tracks.

Grooverider is an excellent DJ but his album was only as
decent as it was because it was basically an Optical album.

I just have visions of people sitting with Optical while he
is working saying "Yeah that sounds cool, that can go on the
album. Do the next one now"

I agree on some accounts. To some degree I actually prefer
reloaded to unloaded (hrhrhr). The first film was like a
hyperlonetic post modernist collage of every interesting
cyberpunk/sci fi concept that came before it, strictly in
cinematic terms. They basically sucked the existing cinema
dry so they had to start looking elsewhere for inspiration.
Mind that for all the hype about the first Matrix being
inspired by manga, anime and comics etc..I found this
influence rudimentary and perpheral at best. It was still
an excercise in pillaging, plundering revamping and maxing
out sci fi/cyberpunk cineamtic standard.

With reloade however they had no choice but come true to
their promises and dip extensively into anime and manga as
well as American Comics (XMen for one) and the result is
unlike any cinematic precedent, and it's frame work of an
epic tigthly packed into a smaller scale is a bit jarring
but very common in comic book narrative where an epic is
generally tackled from inside out in an episodic fashion
rather huge expositions that set up the back stroy prior to
even a single frame of film being displayed(unlike LOTR
where Peter jackson set out to create a massive epic with
3hr plus running time for each episode) He I find Reloaded a
purer albeit less entertaining film than the original.

And btw..the drum beats and the whole tribal orgy scene was
kinda naff, early ninties dreadlocked hippies banging on
african drums shtick.

thats what i mean, and the whole sex scene was like 10
minutes, about 9 minutes to long, but they do that shite for
hollywood and its what "the people" want

whoever "the people" are.

yeh the music on reloaded was worse than the original which
atleast had a Ministry track (though not the best on the
album it came on DSOTS)
unless having a Christian Metal band POD on a Neitsczhein
flick (supermen, dead gods etc) was an attempt at irony.

o man that chase scene was SO cool in matrix reloaded. ya i
almost jizzed my pants with the way cool swerving trin was
doing. o man she's so hot. And “action, reaction”, that
BLEW MY MIND. Hey it was an action movie come on, can't
expect artistic balance. i like having popular action
cinema regurgitated on my brain.

piece…of…shit
