Yeah thats quite fucked up. I prefered the start tho, when
it was quiet, i think the drums distorted a bit too much
near the end, but still a good track. www.mp3.com.au/rud
check mine out too

Rather than using distortion on the drums it would sound
fucking cool if you used a bitcrusher instead. Very good
track though, in fact it is excellent, really atmospheric.
I think it lost it's way a bit after 6 minutes. I am
getting bored of drill stuff at the moment and stuff like
this is what I am finding myself listening to.

and what exactly is a bitcrusher and what does it do? its
actually not distortion what i use but a plug-in called
sonic decimator, with a preset drum destroyer, or something
like that

I can't really describe the effect :D

Ae use it though on some of their tracks...but I can't
remember the name of any of them at the moment, just hear
them in my head. It is a proper funky effect though.

I've e-mailed the link home. I like to hear new music but I
can't download at work :(

Trying to think about how to respond... I agree with the bit
crusher comment, something a little more defined than the
noise you're using would add a lot, plus you get more
parameters to play with to vary up the sound.

I gotta say, I don't think it does justice to the length of
the track, but that's just a personal thing, I've been quite
anti-repetition lately

The changes are subtle enough to work as an ambient piece
quite well

Some little additions to the melody, a bit of chordal
something every once in a while, just to throw a quirk in
the loop I think would add a lot to the piece. Or cut a few
minutes off, I don't know, I don't really know how to review
ambient things unless you give a little note about what you
were trying to do with the piece

what i was going for was to kinda start with just nice clean
samples, but gradually destroy the song, but almost so
subtly that its tough to notice. at least thats what i was
going for. o and about the length of the song, i didnt even
realize how long it was until i had finished all the
programming and was listening to it for the first time. it
didnt seem to be that long until then

Well, like I said, the changes are subtle, they blend really
nicely, kudos. I don't have patience to do that sort of
thing =)

I still think some little countermelodies or something would
be really neat. Subtle, like the way you lay down the
distortion
