Haven't listened to the original yet, listening to Skink's
remix first. Nice and slow without getting boring. I like
the way it changes quite dramatically at around 3.20- the
way the strings sort of fall away to leave a recognisable,
but bare bones bit of the track. A superb ambient piece.
I'll listen to the original in a sec.

The original is very differnet. It still has that dramatic
transition, but it occurs earlier in this one. I like the
way it moves between different styles before ending up back
at the second one. I was expecting it to go back to how it
did at the start, but this was a pleasent suprise. My only
criticism would be that it gets a bit too "busy" at around
5.00 for what is an otherwise fairly minimal piece. Still,
that's just my opinion and it's a good track overall. :)

cheers for the review ceri, re: the original... was in a
wierd mood when i wrote that... the track is how i fealt...
kinda big and... i guess i wanted it to be powerful and
intense, like an overwhelming feeling...

the mastering could be a bit better... too many instruments
fighting to be heard.

reminds me a lot of that orchestral piece that was in the
deniro movie "HEAT"

yeah i really dig them... quite differant in style to what

they're golden oldies :) my oldies arent nearly as
impressive hehe
