Aphex for your car...

wrigley's from MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA on 2001-11-14 14:17 [#00051910]

Ya know, I am constantly shaking my head at them dickheads
with their sell out dance music in their cars......the
equipment is nice, but the music is horrible. I was at the
lights one day, when one of these cars *doof* next to my car
right. So i did something different, slaped in a bit of
Caustic Window- The Garden Of Linmiri!!!!! hahahahaha, my
systems good to buddy!, as I made it very loud for him to
hear. he bet me in the drag though. smoked me real good. oh
well. made a point.

anyway....what do you reckon would make a good mix of RDJ
songs for ya car??? (prefferably to scare little kiddies
away)

wrigley's from MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA on 2001-11-14 14:36 [#00051918]

errrr... throw a bit of
quoth (hidden mix) in there.

i wouldnt include any of the SAW2 tracks... you might fall
asleep and crash and die a gasoline filled death.

humanoid must not escape

ab4 - song 3 (will beat your system through the back)

come to daddy

ab3 - song 2

some ventolin maybe ....
ugh, that´s all for now ;-) (i wanna see your streets burn
now)

hevquip from a giraffes throat on 2001-11-14 16:48 [#00051964]

ventolin, come to daddy, most of the caustic windown album
is good, but so are autechre tracks. i'll play anything that
annoys people. i have porsche 951 though, so i like to race
around like a madman, so squarepusher works better for that.
if i'm just cruising though, i like bogdans "samurai math
beats" album. have to throw in jega's "geometry" every once
in a while too.

When I listen to Vordhosbn in my car, I get orgasmic, and
want to run red lights and slam into people. Really, this is
not exagerrating. It drives me mad!

aktium from bat country on 2001-11-14 17:55 [#00052004]

ventolin (wheeze mix)

If you were going to kill yourself, and you owned a car,
would you just kill yourself, plain, or strap your car up
and play a sort of Twisted Metal type game around the
neighbouring streets, eventually leading to your death, I
would take the second choice.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-14 20:12 [#00052049]

Am I the only one here that loves Gibbon? Simple, thump
thump thump techno, but I like it alot.

1010-1111-10 from St.John\\\\\\\\, Canada on 2001-11-14 20:30 [#00052060]

whoops my bad. Sloth wuz actually susposed to be Gibbon
(even tho Sloth is nice with bass)

yeah Gibbon is an awesome song! If you put it into some wack
program or stero and set the 3d sound really high that werid
keyboady sound is everywhere!

"i wouldnt include any of the SAW2 tracks... you might fall

heh, actually, i was walking by a bunch of cars stopped at a
light a few months ago, and one of them had "tree" from saw2
blaring from its speakers...awesome :)

wrigley's from MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA on 2001-11-15 01:50 [#00052129]

'tree' nice...
have you ever tried listening to SAW2 while walking around
town (on MD or discman)?
I nearly got hit by a car once ......

1010-1111-10 from St.John\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\, Canada on 2001-11-15 02:03 [#00052131]

Man I could probably walk across Canada and not realize it
with SAWII playing. BTW ne1 have to two tracks that are not
on the american release? If so r they any good?

Aktium from bat country on 2001-11-15 02:43 [#00052135]

ya there good

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-15 02:46 [#00052137]

I walk home with either Pink Floyd or Aphex on my discman
every day, and it time flies when you're listening to music.
Without it, I get bored, and want to throw myself in front
of cars. Now I have Drukqs, so I'll listen to that. I don't
have SAW2, but that would make walking interesting...

aperson on 2001-11-15 03:02 [#00052144]

If you want to annoy the HELL out of people check out
Bomb20. It's actually not that bad, and is wild as HELL. But
will probably explode the eardrums of the passengers in any
nearby vehicle.

Fernz on 2001-11-15 15:26 [#00052312]

How about you just loop the first 3 seconds of Ventolin
(video edit) and drive around..? That'll get you some funny
loox. And raging tinnitus.
:)

Andrew on 2001-11-15 15:56 [#00052342]

Ophecks, I know EXACTLY what you mean.

Today I was driving along listening to Vordhosbn in the car
today, and it just sent me slightly insane. I think I
reduced what is normally a 10 minute drive to about 4
minutes ;)

Hooray for Road Rage.

I think Drukqs is a really, really good album to drive to as
it offers a great combination of moods. On top of that some
of the songs are so multi-faceted that they have different
effects to your mood, based on your current mood.

It's just plain fucking great.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-15 15:59 [#00052345]

Yeah, that Vordhosbn is quite the adrenalinizer. I have to
be careful when I listen to that. And also Cornish Acid, it
fucks me up!

oki from grmny on 2001-11-15 16:00 [#00052347]

damn, that´s right ...
listened to it again since a few days now, and i had that
effect, that i thought:
wow, like i never heard it before, ya know?!!
it´s got so many deep and subtile things in it that you
hear more and more of the longer you listen to drukqs ...

like you said PLAIN FUCKING GREAT!!!

FangsFirst on 2001-11-17 03:27 [#00052932]

Windowlicker. Come To Daddy (LOL almost got into an accident
whilst listening to that)
the "warm synth"y sounds, I really dig
Flim, 4, Fingerbib (FFFFF!!!)
