also Pierre Di Scullio made a font which was pretty brillant
as the letters looked like the sound they were
producing... it worked in French only though... there were
different O's, different A's, etc. - depending on the
phonetic of the letter in the context. (the character is
called Quantange, you can watch it at Pierre Di Scullio's website...)

Larabie has some great ideas but his kerning is atrocious
and his letterforms are wildly inconsistent. Two words in
the same font will look like they are in completely
different typefaces (which would be okay I guess if they
weren't also so ugly).

What would we be if we were fonts?

Neetta seems like a small and neat person so she'd be Neetta
Condensed.

Titsworth Bold (doesn't come any other way)
Nigel Sans Pants
Jivver Snarky
Dobbin Obscure
Qrter Disappointed
Ophecks Perverted Hand
Elusive Incomprehensible

I dunno what to call LeCoeur but it would have whiskers and
the i's would be dotted with little hearts.

Andale Mono kills all these other fonts and consumes their
brains and gains their knowledge that doesn't work
actually i tried.

Amnesiac > me. =P

i've had a passion for letters typography etc. since when i
was a child (and way before i had a computer), i collected
lots of fonts all selected and made some myself... now i'm
not that passionated anymore, but i still care about it.

typography can help a lot determine the ambiance of things
for me...

Verdana is a very good screen font in small sizes.
but for printed text, frankly there is much better...

...and i don't like Helvetica. i like Arial much more.
