I did a rmx of ae's flutter track.
If you want to listen to it, you can click the link below
this sentence.

Orange Dust - AE Flutter RMX

I like it.
I hope you do too.
Thankyou for listening.

in the world who I think can look completeled speed freakish

That's cool, it's amazing what you can do with these little
programs isn't it?

Pah who needs cubase...

Yeah I use shitloads of granulator channels for samplers
now. You can do soe really cnie ae kind of stuff really
easily with these if you know what you're doing. I did
another tune that I'll upload toorrow called delesis which
is more of this textural kind of stuff.

The music making process is not limited to your software,
only your imagination (to a certain extent..)

I do most all of my stuff in reason and i've heard people
give it lots of shit you know like no vst no dx support i
don't need all those things, i just use my imagination and
some other outside editors.

So again i'm going to say pah to cubase and logic too.

i just use my gameboy and imagination. most my listeners
have to use their imagin ation as well ;D

pah 2 cubyse and logic!!!

i thought this sounded ambitious considering the complexity
of the original..

its like your squeaky old style.. reminds of me the plaid
mix of vletrmx youknow? doesnt sound much like the original
at all hehe ;)

dude. this was awesome. and suddenly i can't think of what
the original sounds like. better go and do that. hats off,
brutha. =]

the complexity of the original? it uhh has a lot of drum
patterns and a repetitive melody.
none of my drum patterns repeat either, so i dunno

the original goes. DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO.
while a heavily reverbed synth goes. BWAAAA BUHWAAAA
BUHWAAA BUHWAAAAAAA.

its awesome.

oh yaeh, btw. AWESOME REMIX! it's so cool my socks caught
fire whilst listening.

I've had some interesting feedback on this - people saying
that the synths are wank (which as much as it hurts is kind
of true), peope saying they love the synths, then people
saying it sounds nothing like the original and then other
people saying it's a cover not a remix.

hmm! make up your minds, dammit!
haha

PS skink - reason is very pro software as far as i know,
it's less limited than FL, but you're right the programs
don't make as much impact on what you make as people think.

It's a great foundation, nice arrangement and programming,
but it needs some effects - some ambience - some rust and
fuzz and finger smudges. And it needs more realtime control
- do you have some midi controller knobs?

you mean tweaking? I can tweak shit I just don't usually
like to....it's not really I dunno...I do it when I feel it
fits but not often, mostly I draw things in on the graph
manunally...

FX wise I agree with ya, I just....kind of did this quickly
as a silly little thing, didn't bother gold plating it too
much.
