For me, either the Final Fantasy film, or Xenogears.

It would be funny if somebody said Bushido Blade.

Phew! I thought I'd be stuck here forever!! It reminded me
of when I was younger and I was tied to this girl and we
were up an alley trying to have a piss, we were doing a
three legged pub crawl... oh, youth.

Einhander is the only one I've played, really. I liked it.
I've just watched friends play others.

I like the one where your a really small thing to start &
the towns people will never speak with you, then you get
bigger of all your mums home made apple pie & start a
business trading galaxial pharmaceuticals with the nautical
training personnel in the air base & at the end when your
mums cook book gets upgraded & you get on to pastrami
sandwiches with I cant believe it's not butter & that big
power up on top of monsoon mountain with the twirly bits
that twinkle & dance in the broth of enchilada......

FFVIII is way underrated... the gameplay is a little wonky,
but Squall Leonheart is one of the best heroes ever
conceived, WAY better than that boring one-dimensional girly
looking little Cloud Strife.

i hear that. squall was so angst ridden i had to play
linkin park full blast and age 4 years in reverse and start
hating my dad to truly enjoy the game.

seriously though, 8 had very realistic dialogue and
personalities which made me really get into and actually
feel for the characters and storyline like a 40 hour long
movie. not to mention i loved the draw battle system.

I actually like the love story between he and Rinoa, even
the spaceship scene with the cheesy love song was convicing
and touching. I usually NEVER buy into the love stories in
these games, but that game executed if fairly well.

I couldn't accept Tidus falling for that boring, bland Yuna.
Blech.

As for the gamplay, I didn't like drawing, or the GFs, or
the lack of armor/weapons, or the money system, or the
levelling system... but I play these games for the story
anyway, so those things aren't all that important.

if 10 was as realistic as 8:

yuna: "tidus......i......uh......i....want
your.......um.....i......love.......ah..."
tidus: "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

oh and vagrant story and tactis were the BEST and i mean
BEST storylines. especially tactics.. blew everything else
out of the water

what about 'lil 'ol Brave Fencer Musashi?? haha, i played
this game till the dancing boss girl. I fucking gave up.
Sold it for a steal at $52.............ha.

and how 'bout that piece of shite Threads of Fate?. worst
square game ever put out, i think.

rock on chocobo's dungeon!!!!

Vagrant Story is awesomely grand.

Tactics is unparalleled, perhaps the best Strategy/RPG ever.

How is Tactics Advance? The game's story and feel sound
''dumbed-down'', but I'm hearing great things about the
gameplay...

actually i think Role Playing Games are pretty boring (IMO)

enjoying.
