well gang... i'm gonna be closing my zebox account soon, for anyone who cares. get what is there while it's there. i have spent most of the past few days beginning the long and awesome road of creating our collective's epic mega-site. in approximately 9 months we will be going live. i will of course keep you all posted. if you'd like to download from me once zebox is gone, my name on slsk is tibbar5179. i feel incredibly possitive about the site. it looks amazing, for one thing. the layout is some of the best visual work i have ever done, album covers included. i am having a great time! even though it is hard work, i am enjoying this immensely. i can't wait until i can share this with you all! so far, i created the splash page, main page, links page, media page (where full downloads of "unreleased" material are available ;P [hopefully videos too *crosses fingers*]), the tibbar page (including gallery of art by me, discography [will have 1 minute long sample clips] and a plays/scripts page [once again, will have content by the time we go live]), the truth will out page (with similar features), the glasse page (just started), the love tangle page, etc... well, that's that. hope those who care are as excited as i am. |

There will be free hot dogs and sodas the first week the glasse page is live. Farah Faucet will also be on location signing autographs. There will be a raffle for prizes and free t-shirts for the first 100 people to log on. Tell your dog. |

why would you close a zebox page are you paying for it? cause other wise you might as well leave it up or maybe this is some kind of publicity stunt |

and i guess publicity stunt wasn't the right thing to say. more like just a little shot at getting some attention. the zebox site will be up for another 9 months before you switch. some one could have a baby before the new site is up. and even then, you'll probably put the mp3s that are there right now on the site, so there's no real reason to tell people about any of this for about 8 1/2 months |

roygbivcore: imo, when one is very much pleased with his work done it's only natural that he can't keep it to himself and is eager to share it with people who really care. that's great, and there's nothing wrong with it. anyways, almost everything we do is aimed at getting people's attention, isn't it? especially when it comes to such creative things as music and art. it's the field where a little attention is always welcome and desired :) |

This may be unrelated to tibbar's reasoning for closing his zebox site, but I decided not to open one due to a) the average level of quality of stuff on the site and b) the amount of raunch that it on the site (There is an industrial band on there who's every video is a hardcore porno, one of which switches between hard porn and images of the twin towers attack.) I am ok with freedom of speech but I also have the right to not be affiliated with a site that chooses to be that liberal. |
