i know, this has lit, to do with the upcoming show(s), but
the two times i've seen and heard -ziq, i've been nothing
more than dissapointined, the last time in sf, he slightly
fiddled with his laptop and broke not even a sweat. i dunno,
but is this something to do with the fact that the stateside
crowds are relatively weak, in comparison to the european?
however, when squarepusher played (just few nights before,
the crowd went fucking mental, as they did for viberts dj
set) so, is -ziq the kind of performer who vibes off an
audience, was he having bad nights, or is he relatively
weak as far as his live gigs go, and the fact that he he
kills serious head with his eps and lps enough for some
people to really get into his below average sets?

I've never seen him live, I really want to. I think his
music will get some moshpits going. As for Mike himself, he
doesn't do much but I'm not there to watch Mike start a
moshpit.

saw him in toronto. awesome show. crowd was dead, but...i'm
not exactly the type to "get into it" m'self. i kindof sit
in the back with a drink and let it soak in.

I thought he was really good live. Yeah hes kinda static,
but the music was good and the crowd were loving it so it
made up for the lack of "stage presence".

Aphex can be weird sometimes, he likes to hide so you cant
see him at all. Its starnge dancing when there is no-one on
stage, no focal point for the crowd.

You should try and see bogdan, hes fookin weird live, he
spasms around and dances to his tunes. Looks like he really
"feels" his music coz he spasms and pulls faces to every
little detail in the music. Makes for a very good show.

If bogdan sung Japanese Woman live I would die a happy man.
