stencils are fun.

stencils arent fun.
stencils are just a cheap-ass watered down version of
grafiti for losers and shit companies that want free
promotion from idiots who will go out and put them up in the
street.
for eaxample: boxfresh, puma.
however, banksy is a completely different kettle of fish and
the lfo stencils are actually kinda cool.

oh, and a yay for Jaroen

someone describe the "sheath" that encloses the cd? does it
look like a condom (that's what the album is named after)?

It looks fuck all like a condom. At least not any that I've
seen anyway. It's a nice sliding case thing. Completely see
though. Just layered I suppose.

Remove the CD case from the Plastic outer case and it just
says LFO with the Alien guy. Take the CD out and it's just
the Alien guy on there. Nothing special but a nice touch.

Well if I could attach my phone to my computer then I'd
upload some mate but I can't do that at the moment as the
thing I need isn't here. Sorry. Xceque is bound to be able
to do that as he'll have the album no worries.

don't get the encased sheath edition. it's a nightmare
trying to reach for the actual cd cover inside it!

trust me on this one.

anyway, the album's ok. nothing more, nothing less. a bit
disappointing, cause i was really expecting another
masterpiece. but it's not. many of the tracks are just too
slow imo. get the Freak cd single instead.

I saw it in the record store today, almost bought it....but
than I remebered how shitty the FREAK single is/was

Took me a while to get the cd out of the sheath, but it's
actually easy. Just take the case and hold it so the end it
slides from is pointing down, hold the edges and shake it
down. It'll slide out.

Bizarrely I've not had a dispatched e-mail for my last two
orders. Strange. So really I'm still waiting for them to
arrive.

I don't know why people've had trouble getting the CD out. I
just slid mine out all casual like!

I got 2 copies of the Stencils...

One for guerilla LFO tags...the other, I guess, it being
limited to 1000 copies it'll be worth something someday....

PS>...THE ALBUM ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favourite this year by far.....

Damn you Jand! You always get free stuff! Then when it's
general free stuff you get two copies! GAH! The album gets
better with more listens. I daren't think what'll happen
after two weeks of listening.

hehehe, just teasing mate. :P

Soulseek is a great place to get those promos and things.

I'm getting the vinyl this week. I wanted to hear the album
first before I got the vinyl.

earth...I agree on the remix front...

Track 2, the hard Aphex sounding one, could certainly do
with extending...it rocks!!, but far too short...

tis gonna be on my walkman all weekend. i especially love
the 1st track.

i like the general feel of the album, half frequencies, half
advance but still an up-to-date sound with a sprinkling of
retro feel to it.

jesus, i could write for pitchfork :)
