US/Israeli propoganda... have you heard about the pregant Palestine women stopped at checkpoints and losing their babies on the side of the road. Thats apartheid. Their organisation has been created mutally by both Israelis and Palestineans. This is not about tit for tat or racism this is about peace. Online petitions and the like do work as long people wish to involved, it lets the policitians know about world wide public opinion, so they have work harder to lie to you :D Check out the people from all over the world who signed it. Its the media that love to pull the wool over your eyes, Fleetmouse have you heard of Rachel Corrie, do a search... Bush owes her family an applogy for being crushed by an Israeli tank who ran over her body 3 times whilst trying to save a Palestinenean house from being bulldozed. I'm to tired to go into battle mode but I can say that I signed the list. Palestinians have been brutally opressed since the 60's (!!!) and to act surprised when they start to take desparate actions against the occupation country after countless failed attempts in the UN to make Israel follow international law is straight out insane. |

Still propoganda, why by steadily driving the Palestineans off their "ancestoral" land since end of the First World War, its systemic colonisation and that is ok with you. Wouldnt you want your land back or at least compensation. After the land has been taken by force and Israel is in violation of many UN resolutions not unlike its counterpart the US who vetoed most of them. Take a look at the map and you will find chemical etc weapons. There is something wrong with this picture. |

Does the world owe you a living? Why should anyone do anything for you. Some people are just indifferent to the plight of others, just think if people were indifferent to Nelson Mandela he would have rotted in jail and Apartheid would still be around or the Berlin Wall coming down. What are the odds lets weigh them up: Palestineans Stones, Sucide Bombers Versus Israel Tanks, Bulldozers, WMD's, Helicopters, Planes, only one of the most powerful arms caches in the world... Can you afford to be indifferent when its clear that these are unfair odds along with the mass media misreporting every aspect of it. I found signatures from the Irish Protest Movement on there and I would not call them nerds, and the people I knew personally that protest for Palestine every Saturday morning rain, hail shine, signed it.
