News Story

i was watching the news this weekend and this news story was
mentioned a few times, so i thought i'd link it.

i have to admit that i've noticed that quite a few peepz on
this MB (usually the same ones) are routinely drunk and
don't see a problem with it.

to drink or not to is a personal choice, but i think thats
it's indicative of a possible problem if you have to get
drunk every night, or more than once a week, etc....i know
i'm in the minority thinking this......i just hope ya'll
take better care of yourselves.

like anything else moderation is the key.

i've really cut down on my binge drinking lately (over the
past two years). me and a few buddies got off to the wrong
start back in our high school days. our motto used to be
"drink til' you wake up".

i've lost countless hours, days, weeks, to binge drinking.
it's really sad when i look back on it all.

i think drinking socially can help loosen tentions, and help
make for an atmosphere more friendly to getting to know
people, but it's way too easily abused.

my longest binge was 9 days of straight drunkeness. i
realize that's a drop in the bucket for true alcoholics, but
it's still WAY too much.

i think alcohol is by far one of the worst drugs ever let
loose on mankind. it's a shame that it's by far the most
widely accepted.

heavy drinking destroys relationships (all kinds) in my
opinion. maybe it's just because i'm an angry drunk.
either way, i avoid alcohol like flesh eating bacteria.
that's also why i'm a gigantic pothead.

plus, ae doesn't sounds better high then drunk.

you have to binge drrink wheneverr you get a day away frrom
the grrind stone, it's the only way, if not all you get
is... 'you can't serrve people with the smell of alcohol on
yourr brreath, we will have to ask you to take the day off
so we can 'rreview' the prroblem', fuckerrs.

Miraculously i seem to have sidestepped a hangover this
morning, hurrah etc...

Thing is, the survey counts binge drinking as anything more
than 4 pints... and more than 10 pints a week is in the
"danger zone". I suppose going on that criteria i do binge
drink, but i don't think it negatively affects me really.
Out once a week and a pint with lunch a day, i don't call
that binging.

funny.... as i was just puking hours ago and now that it's
7:24am i will have to work soon.

I have been drinking an unbelieveable amount the last month
or two. I have probably been sober 2-3 days. I can't really
explain why but i guess that's just how it is.

ever see leaving las vegas?

getting drunk purely for the sake of getting drunk is pretty
lame.

Remember, sinful youth, you must die, you must die,
Remember, sinful youth, you must die;
Remember, sinful youth, who hate the way of truth,
And in you pleasures boast, you must die, you must die;
And in you pleasures boast, you must die.
