for ex. i like very much Plaid , Plone , Sigur Ros and other stuff , there are days that i'm listening anly to these , but the thing is that i have allways place to return - Ae albums in fact , Incunabula is my first album of Ae , i have it from some 8 years , and every time i listen to Kalpol Introl or Bike or 444 i have fuckin gooseskin on neck - its ultimate border with IDM , you cant go further , these tracks are my favourite for title of Grand Master of IDM for Ever but like i said - it's very personal |

this is another amazing thing about music :) im not affraid to say that Ae is most " personal " band in IDM world - it's funny but if you like them you will like them forever , and , if you hate them - you will never like them :)) |

i just read every thread on this page and my brain did not improve by any means of any percentage.... but i happen to own all of ae's albums and almost all ep's and i think that places me as a fan. although i have never been to a live show, which would be bonechilling, but i am still a huge fan. |

i dont like everything autechres has made. a substantial amount of it i really dont listen to anymore. but the tracks i DO like, i like more than anything else for the most part. i consider myself a large autechre fan, im just not a "fanboy" who has to "have everything" regardless of what it is. |

there are times when i obsess over ae... and they are definitely high up in my idm cannon... probably goes something like this (in a vertical ranking): Afx Prefuse Jan Jelinek AE Arovane Squarepusher Venetian Snares BOC Req Tim Hecker Fennesz Philip Jeck... and so on from there... but i'd have to say that i'm always digging new artists, and that wouldn't be how i'd rank them right now... it's more of a general ranking |
