Anyone heard of this guy? "Warp have announced the release of the first single of their newest signing, Jimmy Edgar. Aged 19, Jimmy has been a regular on the DJ circuit in his native Detroit since he was 15, playing alongside the likes of Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May. The press release quite him saying “my music has a huge Detroit techno influence, but I want it to go even further beyond that, to the point where it feels literally like Detroit itself.” Access Rhythm is scheduled to be released on 17 November, with the album Bounce, Make, Model to be released in Spring 2004." |

i saw jimmy edgar live at the detroit electronic music festival during the summer. pretty dope glitch/hip-hop type stuff...he has released some albums on merck also. |
