where - outside of slsk which hasn't been working for me for weeks - can I find these? anyone have AIM that could send them to me? also, what is the story behind MFM? it's music he wanted to serve as the a score for video games? for a specific one? didnt he realize that kind of sound in video games was already at least 10 years dated by the time he made those? what happened.. he had some half-baked idea that he'd take a shot in the dark and get those songs in a video game, scrapped it then made the seminal RDJLP!? whaaa? explain |

Melodies From Mars just sounds like a bunch of early demo tracks to me. The kind everyone has on their computer...none of the tracks sound finished. I reckon he has sent it to someone as a piss take and it leaked. It is certainly not that good an album. |

there's one track from that that I have that I really like.. it's obviously a girl/boy song precursur.. instrumentally at least.. it's all sampled stringed instruments and an organ.. very nice melodies.. playful and that.... but my mp3 cuts of pretty early.. how long is that track supposed to be? |

I didn't like MfM at first, but there are indeed som decent tracks. I like the "unfinished" sound of the whole thing. |

melodies from mars was never intended to be a soundtrack for a videogame, it is a false rumor it is in fact a tape rdj gave to people @ warp and friends and i don't know who else for their personal enjoyment the track you're speaking of theo is also my favourite from there, i never heard a longer version but i suspect it's not so short on the tape as it makes no sense to cut the track when it begin to change and build up... damn, i'll sell my mom to hear the full version |

i have melodies from mars mastered version. no pops or clicks on mine. it sounds great. not sure if its ALL of that tracks or not though, since i've never seen an "official" track listing. |
