Whilst in your sleep I am sure you can write stuff as good as anyone, however in the cold light of day you more than likely couldn't. I would be more than happy for you to prove me wrong. Post a track in the style of BoC and I will listen and give an honest opinion.

about BOC - "music has..." is good good album , but "geoddadi" and "twois " were released almost one after another - when i was listening these ones i thought that i know these sounds , i know what they will do with rhythm , and i was wondering why they are using still the same sequencers...its good to have specific sound which will be known by everyone , but its no good to make all the same...
BOC i rather like from before , than from now but this is strictly personal , i think

I am a big big fan of MHTRTC, I love everything about the album from beginning to end. Their other stuff is good too, but MHTRTC is one of my all time top 5.

the last thing i would call BoC's material is UNINSPIRED. fucking britney spears and lil bow wow is uninspired worthless shit, not BoC.
What you need to realize is that the problem lies not in BoC's music, it lies in your ability to appreciate it and experience it in a certain way, without judging it, measuring it with some other track, trying to give it a score out of 10.
Each track is a different angle of the same object, when you start putting them together is when you'll be overcome with a rush of euphoria, when you can let the music take you away, lead you into another room inside your mind, another mood maybe, maybe more tha that. when you can let the aural sensation wash over your mind and slowly sink in becoming more and more in the moment, more aware, you can't help but forget every grudge, every mistake or problem, all you can do is think to yourself in awe how beautiful and complex the human mind can be to produce something like this......

they arent uninspired! how can you say that
almost all their tracks last really long.. ok i admit they always use the same percussion.. but the songs on Geogaddi for example are so.. deep.. theres so much detail to them..
...just my 2 cents

I don't rate BoC very high personally, but I love IABPOITC and Geogaddi. I agree with JAroen that the tracks on Geogaddi are very detailed... but the thing I like most are the shorter tracks like Opening the Mouth and In The Annexe. I don't what it's in it, but whatever it is the tracks on the album are overflowing with it.
However I cannot stand Alpha and Omega.

I think boc are some of the most talented guys in this scene at the present time, i love the fact that they are really understated and they don't the need to show off.
The music they write is some of the most thought provoking music i have ever heard and probably the most beautiful.
There you go i said it! : )

uninspired? boring? thats a great opinion you have there...
theres nothing wrong with not liking the music but to complete dis it by saying you can do better in your sleep...that's just ignorant. just because you down loaded some songs by them doesn't mean 'oh now they can be accepted as being popular cuz i have a song!'. when you put something down, don't use things about urself to back up your point. thats being an arrogant idiot.
