Bilious Path is the first cd of electronic music who I
bought with cd text info inside. What are cd text info?
Well, when you put cd in cd player with cd text option
active, you can read the artist name, title and title
tracks.

The Bilious path CD Text has different track names to the
official ones doesn't it?

Yeah, it has Xlt/Planet Mu people on it...

Woofer: These CDs have been around for years, obviously you
download all your music! NAWTY!

point1)
what are you saying? see my xltronic recordbag... are all
originals! i support the artists man.

point2)
title tracks are the same of album. there're not
xltronic/planetMu persons there

point3)
i can read the title only with my car stereo and it's a
pioneer.
cd text is a normal function that common in many cd
players.

there's much confusion about this argument i see...

btw: i know that these cds are around for years, infact i
said that it's my 1st electronic cd with this particular
function.
anotherone was "godzilla soundtrack" and anotherone was by
"offspring", but they weren't electronic music.

yeah i noticed that aswell, except on my copy of billious
paths the track titles were strange variations of the
original tracks. i made a thread about it somewhere but i
cant find it.

the only other cd i've found with text on was a cypress hill
album. they are signed to sony, who i think made cd text
players first.

if I remember correctly that was a joke, done by someone
from watmm - anyone can fill out names like that, or
something.

It was never confirmed in the thread, so I was slightly
dubious about dragging it up again :)

I think some of you might be confusing cdtext with cddb
(like in winamp). winter in the belly of a snake and I
believe nymphomatriarch are also cdtext.

offline ecnadniarb on 2003-09-17 09:47 [#00867236]

That's right it was the CDDB that has the alternative
titles, and anyone can submit that...I am just sooo fucking
tired.
