sorry i need to brag but this is what i'm getting
tomorrow:

Processor: 2,4GHz Pentium 4, 800 fsb
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-PE1000PRO2 (Supports 800MHz FSB Intel®
Pentium® 4 Processor with Hyper-Threading Technology)

Tower Case: CHA_AOpen H600B_Xta

i have two hard drives, 120GB and 80GB, Geforce4, dxr3 dvd
decoder and soundblaster live.

finally i can start to make music without limitations. the
only thing left for me to buy is delta44 audio interface and
oxygen8 or radium midi controller. but i don't have enough
money for it now.

what is YOUR computer setup? include audio hardware if you
want.

:D

28k that's pretty fast. remember that scene in the movie
'hackers' where angelina jolie is showing off her computer.
jolie: "yeah its pentium 200mhz, 16mb RAM (can't remember
exactly what it was) and 28kb modem. they were all
like "wow"

I have a HP LD PRO server in my basement running Windows
2000 Server @ Pentium Pro 200 / 256 Mb / 1x2Gb SCSI + 2x9Gb
Ultra Wide SCSI Atlas discs (10 krpm) / 4mm DAT backup. I
store essential stuff on my server and the backup is running
every night. I'm also running Active Directory on the server
and IIS webserver and soon also Exchange server.

I'm using XP Pro at my workstation @ AMD 1800+, 512 Mb, 80Gb
+ 80Gb + 200Gb harddisks, CD-writer, DVD-writer, Geforce 4
4200 w. 128 Mb, HP 19" monitor, Video editing stuff, etc
etc...

Internet access via ADSL and I'm using 802.11b WLAN for
connectivity. I just hate wires.

As you can see I'm pretty much of a computer freak.
